Illustrations, cover design, and interior layout for James Goldberg's collection of apocalyptic poetry, “A Book of Lamentations”.

With the imagery & style of these illustrations, I attempted to depict the imbalance & contradiction we feel living in the "last days" (as some religious folks and climate scientists believe). The scenes are frantic and calm, strange and holy, hopeless and hopeful. The world is ending but a new one is beginning—as it always has, as it always will.
